Kitty Bu is the communications director of the China program at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI). Kitty has over 10 years of experience in the media, communications and consultancy. She worked as a television news producer and on camera news presenter for Reuters for six years in Beijing. Her reporting covered a wide range of topics, from policy and economics to international relations and natural disasters. Kitty then worked as a documentary producer for five years. She produced the Asia leg of *Hunger and Thirst*,a documentary that won many awards in Europe.
Prior to joining RMI, Kitty also worked at Brunswick consultancy, where she was involved in financial communications for a number of high profile merger and acquisition deals outside China.
Kitty holds a Bachelor of Arts in film and arts from Communication University of China and was invited by Oxford University to attend an art history and literature exchange program.
