Zhe is an Associate at RMI, where he primarily works on China freight efficiency project and the Alliance of Peaking Pioneer Cities (APPC) 100-city peaking strategy development project. Zhe joined RMI in October 2015.
Prior to RMI, Zhe interned at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) where he summarized and analyzed the trading price and volume for China’s 2014 carbon trading market, and predicted the future market trends, opportunities and challenges. While pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University, he worked as a student consultant for NCAA Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on a consulting practicum, finding solutions for the organization to gain more revenue in the following 5 years.
Prior to graduate school, he devoted lots of efforts in math and won the second prize Mathematical Modeling Contest. Zhe also worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as an intern to help Zhenjiang city generate its high-tech industrial park development plans.
